Focus On Your Passion

There is nothing unfulfilling like doing what you don't like. Finding oneself in a place of work where you feel you are intellectually wasting away, a place where there is nothing new to learn, and when you try to give your all its not appreciated most people find themselves caught in this where they wake up each morning look their best to work, but in that work place lie their nightmare, a place that restrict their countless skills and abilities, a place where they can't speak up, where they don't feel confident and comfortable enough to voice their opinions or share their thoughts, they stay in the job not because it makes them a better person or challenge them intellectually, but because they want to take something home at the end of the month.

Most people today find themselves doing jobs that make them go on an emotional roller coaster, but on social media feign love for such jobs and use hashtags to describe how much they love this job that is drowning them slowly, they try to put up a brave face in the presence of  family and friends and keep all emotions bottled up, and give fake figures of wages they receive to impress people around.

For one you should always follow your gut if you feel deep hate for your job, then you should absolutely start looking for other opportunities you need to step up, start doing that which makes you happy and leave that which you are not happy with. Find your passion, that thing that gives you fulfilment and peace.

You might be  thinking of how to start by giving lots of excuses like; "I don't have the capital to start, I have not perfected my skills, I'm not good and so on. And who said you have to start big, my suggestion enroll in a skill acquisition programme. It is never too late or early to start, it might take time for the desired effect, but with patience you can grow it into what you really want.
